Terry Vohs Obituary Terry Kae Vohs, age 78, of Herrin, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 with her loving family by her side.
She was born Wednesday, June 12, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of Jess and June (Fahland) Fitzpatrick.
Terry was a kind-hearted and compassionate individual. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who cherished her generous spirit and loving nature. Terry spent her career at Maytag, where she dedicated herself to her work and built lasting relationships with her colleagues. In her younger years, she was an avid softball player, enjoying the camaraderie and competition of the game. Terry also had a passion for bowling, a sport that brought her joy and introduced her to the love of her life, her Pamala. She met Pam on the bowling lanes, and they shared many happy years together. Traveling to spend time with loved ones brought Terry immense joy. She reveled in creating memories with her family and friends, and her presence was always a blessing to those around her. At home, Terry's heart belonged to her beloved Yorkie puppies, who brought her immense joy and companionship. Though they may have passed on, Terry's love for them remained strong, and she cherished the memories of the happy times they shared. She loved to spoil them, and they loved her just the same. Terry's greatest gift, however, was her ability to listen. She had a unique capacity to understand and empathize with others, offering comfort and guidance whenever needed. Her selflessness and willingness to help others were hallmarks of her extraordinary character.
