Tammie Winkler Obituary Tammie Sue Winkler, 63, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 31st, 2024 at 11:50am in Barnes Jewish Hospital. Tammie was born November 7th, 1960 to Robert "Bob" Winkler and Shirley Mae (Boyt-Pike). She is survived by two children; Lauren Kae (Dallas) Rumsey and Clayton Austin Lacy. Three grandsons; Kaede Reynolds, Reid Rumsey, & Ridge Rumsey. And several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her three siblings, Michael Jay Winkler, Robert "Robbie" Ray Winkler, & Eula Kaye (Winkler) Miller. Her parents, Bob & Shirley Winkler. And her favorite brother-in-law, William "Bill" Miller.
Tammie never met a stranger, and made friends everywhere she went! She will be deeply missed by so many! It was her wish to be cremated with no public services.
Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with final arrangements.
