Sheila Maureen Dewar, of Du Quoin, passed away peacefully at 8:40pm on Friday, June 11, 2021 at Eldorado Rehab and Healthcare Center.
Sheila was born in Benton on June 24, 1955, the daughter of Margie (West) and Noble Risley, Sr. She had previously worked as the activity director of local area nursing homes. Sheila loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include:
Daughter- Melissa Walker
Daughter- Heather Dawn Gonzalez
Five Grandchildren- Jacob and Reece Melvin
Taylor Reece
Jesse Potts
Bailey Gonzalez
Five Great Grandchildren whom she adored
Brother- Jerry Risley
Sister- Sharon Kay Benedict
Sister- Susan Zettler
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers- Terry, Larry, and Noble Risley, Jr.
As per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and no services will be held at this time. Maxton-Rosado Funeral Home in Du Quoin is assisting the family with final arrangements.
