Robert Rolla McCall

Robert McCall Obituary Energy- ROBERT R. McCALL, SR, age 80, of Energy, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at his home in Energy.

Robert was born in Carbondale on June 4, 1942, the son of Ruth (Cheatham) and Harry Lee McCall, Sr. He married Janice Diane Williams in Carbondale on September 22, 1962. She preceded him in death on September 8, 2009.

In June of 1996, Robert retired from the Illinois State Police after serving for almost 30 years. Robert was a proud United States Army Veteran.

Survivors include:

One daughter- Kimberly Ann Jeralds and husband Kevin of Herrin, IL

Two Sons- Robert McCall, Jr and wife Debra of McKinney, TX

Thomas W. McCall and wife Lori of West Frankfort, IL

Grandchildren- Anthony and Jaqualine Jeralds

Heather and Alex Cullum

Lorean and David Severs

Amanda McCall

Jessica McCall

Keagan Jeralds

Kendall Jeralds

Brookelynn Jeralds

Great Grandchildren- Melanie (Conner) King

Jacoby and Anthony Jeralds

Rowen & Alastor Cullum

Landon and Avery Severs

Sister-Delores Pippin of Norris City, IL

Brother- Harry L. and Carol McCall of Grand Prairie, TX

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two grandsons- Travis W. McCall and Tim McCall.

Per Robert's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Private inurnment will take place at Egyptian Memorial Gardens in Energy. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with arrangements.
