Pamela June Tuttle, age 55, of Elkville, passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side, at 10:36 am on Sunday, January 14, 2024.
Pamela was born on June 19, 1968, in Eldorado, the daughter of Jessup and Marylen (Davis) Tuttle. Prior to her illness, she had worked at Walmart for ten years and Com-Pac International for twenty-one years.
In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, shopping for shoes, and her weekly runs to TJ Maxx. She was a lover of all things British and was an avid collector of Wizard of Oz memorabilia.
Survivors include her mother- Marylen Tuttle of Sharon, Tennessee; daughter- Kia (David) Howell of Elkville; daughter- Mercedes Thompson (Angie Harper) of Du Quoin; six grandchildren- Clayton Howell, Lennon Thompson, Aiden Howell, Roman Thompson, Wendell Howell, and Chandler Howell; three sisters- Donna Bailey, Ozina (Jason) Champan, and Melissa (Kevin) Abraham; two brothers- Terry (Kim) Bailey and Brian Tuttle; and her best friend- Debby Dawes.
Pamela is preceded in death by her father- Jessup Tuttle, two brothers- William and Larry Bailey; and her beloved dog- Maggie.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 pm on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Maxton-Rosado Funeral Home in Du Quoin. A time of visitation will be held from 4:00 pm- 6:00 pm on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Maxton-Rosado Funeral Home. Family and friends are encouraged to gather and share in a time of fellowship and fond memories and celebrate a life well lived. For those who prefer, memorial donations may be made to a college fund for her grandchildren (checks payable in the care of Kia Howell or Mercedes Thompson).
