Nancy Ross Obituary
Nancy Jane Ross, age 77, of Patoka, Illinois, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at her home in Patoka.
Nancy was born Thursday, February 6, 1947, in Vandalia, Illinois, a daughter of Virgil and Opal (Bryant) Herrin. She married the love of her life, Jackie Lee Ross, in Centralia on August 26, 1965. Together, they shared more than fifty-nine years of marriage.
A devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother, Nancy's kindness and devotion inspired countless hearts. Her unwavering love, guidance, and support touched the lives of everyone she met. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband- Jackie Lee "Jack" Ross of Patoka; son- Scott Lee (Lisa) Ross of Woodlawn; three grandchildren- Bryant (Christy) Ross of Woodlawn, Caleb Ross of Woodlawn, Alison Ross of Woodlawn; two brothers- Jim (Sue) Herrin of Patoka and Gary (Pat) Herrin of Kell; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Private graveside services will be held. The family of Nancy Ross invites you to join them for a meal and time of fellowship to be held at 1:30pm on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at the Patoka Pentecostal Church, located at 209 South Walnut Street in Patoka.
