Meagan Kniser Obituary

Meagan Renee Kniser, age 34, of Nashville,passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Meagan was born Wednesday, May 1, 1991 in Belleville, a daughter of Kenneth Julius Powell and Stacy Michelle (Schniers) Kniser.

Meagan was a shining light in the lives of those who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Meagan's passions included singing and music, which brought her immense joy. Her creativity extended to crafting and art, showcasing her talented and artistic side. Above all, Meagan adored her family - her son, fiancé, nephews, and loved ones - who brought her greatest happiness. Her infectious humor and big heart made everyone's day brighter. Meagan's love for life was evident in her enthusiasm for cooking, conversation, and spreading joy. Her memory will live on through the countless lives she touched. Her love, laughter, and spirit will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her parents- Stacy Michelle Kniser and Kenneth Julius Powell of Centralia; son- Amias Cooper of Carlisle; sister- Sarah (Paul Frantz) Kniser of Nashville; fiance- Gary Johnson of Nashville; nephew- Landon Williams; niece- Araya Kniser; aunts- Tanna (Joe Pranga) Hart of Radom; Robin (David) Bryran of Breese; and Linda York of Dell; uncles- Tommy Powell of Nashville and Chris (Cody) Kniser of Poplar Bluff; cousin- Charity York and her two daughters- Hope and Faith; cousin-Robby (Crystal) Taylor of Centralia; and many friends.

Meagan was preceded in death by her grandparents- Bernell and Mary Gail Schniers, brother- Sean Michael Kniser, aunt- Stephanie Buck and uncle- Brian Buck.
