Mama Girl Spenner who attained the age of 10 years crossed rainbow bridge surrounded by her parents on Thursday December 12, 2024 as a result of clear cell squamous sarcoma.
Mama Girl was officially adopted by her parents in 2019. Before that, she was a farm cat where her mom worked. It was there that her and her mom bonded very quickly. Mama Girl had several litters of kittens there, resulting in her mom realizing the need for a low cost spay and neuter program in our area. She was the first patient of approximately 200 animals fixed to date and the whole reason Spenner’s Spay and Neuter became the program it is today.
Mama Girl did not know a stranger and was often referred to as the sweetest kitty ever! She loved having visitors and always made time to get some pets, be picked up and get some cuddles. Kids were her absolute favorite. If a baby would cry she would immediately be right there to offer comfort. When the family had sleepovers you could always find her sleeping all snuggled up with the kids. For such a small little soul she had so much love to give.
Our family is honored that we were able to share her final years with her.
She was preceded in death by her Brother Dylan Chase, son Breachie Boy (Agiel) and is survived by her parents Tim and Melanie Spenner, her grandson Spicey Baby, Meemaw and Papa Hackstadt and Gma and Gpa Spenner. She will be missed by all her favorites kids, Nolan, Ada, and Kacen.
