Lovean Christine Klein-Barnich

Lovean Klein-Barnich Obituary Lovean C. (Ferrari) Klein-Barnich, 96, Herrin, formerly of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Memorial Hospital, Carbondale, Illinois. Lovean, daughter of Joseph and Anna (Chrostowski) Roszkowski, was born August 4, 1927 in Royalton, Illinois.


Survivors include her daughter, Gayle (Wolff) Brandon and husband Dennis, son, Keith Ferrari and wife Kim, daughter, Carol Ferrari, daughter, Patricia Ferrari and husband Andrew Janszky, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren. Lovean was the last surviving sibling from a family of fifteen children, cherished by many nieces and nephews. Her marriages to Murray Klein (deceased 1991) and George Barnich (deceased 2007) also blessed her life with loving extended families.


Lovean's kindness, patience, persistence and quiet joyfulness were only a few of the many wonderful qualities she was known for. She was an avid golfer, winning many tournaments, including championships at Franklin County Country Club (Illinois) and Cross Creek Country Club (Florida).


Lovean was much loved and will be greatly missed.


Visitation will be from 11am -1pm prior to the 1pm funeral service Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home, Herrin, Illinois. Rev. Ralph Brandon will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery, Royalton, Illinois.
