Leslie Vinson

Leslie Vinson, 66, of Mt. Vernon, passed away on January 14, 2026, at his home.

Born on September 19, 1959, in California, Leslie was the son of Howard and Frances Fern Vinson. On July 10, 1991, he married Kimberly Dees in Pinellas Park, Florida, beginning a partnership marked by devotion and shared joy.

Leslie built his life around his passions and his family. A talented chef, he found purpose in the kitchen and took pride in creating meals for those he loved. He was also an avid gun collector and ammunition specialist, a hobby he pursued with enthusiasm and expertise. Above all, Leslie cherished time spent with his family, finding his greatest happiness in their company.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Vinson of Mt. Vernon, IL; his daughter, Sadie Rashae Vinson of Ohio; and his grandson, Henry Muon of Columbus, Ohio.

In keeping with Leslie's wishes, no public services will be held at this time.
