Leslie Reed Obituary It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leslie Curtis Reed, who left us on May 21, 2025, at the age of 45.
Born on July 12, 1979, in Benton, IL, Leslie was a shining light in the lives of everyone who knew him.
Leslie is survived by his beloved brother, Noel Reed, along with the dedicated staff at the Foch group home and Centerstone vocational staff, all of whom were fortunate to share in his journey and witness his incredible spirit.
A true force of nature, Leslie was more than just an amazing dancer-he was a master of creativity, gifted in crafting hilarious nicknames and funny phrases that always brought laughter to those around him. His smile was infectious, lighting up the room and warming hearts effortlessly.
Though the world may feel a little dimmer without Leslie, his legacy of love, laughter, and dance will forever be cherished. Rest easy, Leslie. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Leslie's friends and family are deeply saddened by this loss. Your support during this difficult time is greatly appreciated.
Graveside services will be held at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Herrin City Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to gather directly at the cemetery. Celebration of life services will immediately follow at the Centerstone Community Day Service located at 902 West Main Street in West Frankfort.
