The exciting and anticipated moments of pregnancy turned to sorrow and heartfelt loss when Baby Ivy Lynn Schilb was born silent into this world on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.
Created in love and eagerly wished for, Baby Ivy's life was a brief gift that touched many hearts. There is no footprint too small that does not leave an imprint on this world.
Survivors include her loving mommy and daddy- Montana Rae Jones and Deven M. Schilb of Mount Vernon; maternal grandparents- Iva Jones of Eureka and Leonard Falcone of Sesser; paternal grandparents- Jennifer Boswell and Daryn Morris of Mount Vernon; and a host of extended family members.
The family will gather for private services to be held at Maxton-Rosado Funeral Home in Centralia.
To these parents, grandparents, and family members, the pain and disappointment is great and their loss will be carried heavily in their hearts for all their days. In the weeks and months ahead, they will miss this child terribly and will be in need of love, compassion, time, and understanding. We sincerely ask that everyone keep this family in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Memorial donations may be made to the family and will be accepted at Maxton-Rosado Funeral Home; 134 S. Elm Street in Centralia, IL 62801. For more information or to sign the memorial guest register, please visit www.maxtonrosado.com or call 618-532-7321.
