Hayden Charles Huse Obituary Heaven gained a precious little angel on Sunday, February 16, 2025 when Hayden Charles Huse, the beloved two-year-old son of Gabrielle Michelle (Owens) and Brian Charles Huse, passed away at Saint Louis Children's Hospital unexpectedly.
Born Monday, October 31, 2022 in Carbondale, Hayden was a bright light in the lives of everyone he touched. His infectious smile, curious spirit, and joyful laughter brought immense happiness to his family and friends. At just two years old, Hayden packed a big personality into his little body. He loved Spider-Man, Toy Story, and wrestling the family dog. But his greatest joy was spending time with his big sister, who was his partner in crime and best friend. Together, they would laugh, play, and create memories that will be cherished forever. Though his time was far too short, Hayden's impact on so many lives will be felt forever. Hayden's love, laughter, and memory will never be forgotten and his brave spirit will continue to guide all those that knew and loved him. Whenever life got tough, Hayden would bravely say, "I'm okay!" Let his words continue to inspire you to face life's challenges with courage and resilience. Hayden would want everyone to know that he's "okay."
His memory will be cherished by his loving parents- Gabrielle Michelle (Owens) and Brian Charles Huse of Energy; big sister- Payton Michelle Huse; maternal grandparents- Scott and Michelle Owens of Herrin; paternal grandfather- Thomas Huse of Marion; paternal grandmother- Nicole Robinson of Marion; maternal great grandmother- Patricia Owens of Alma; maternal great grandparents- Tom and Crystal Sanders of Alma; paternal great grandmother- Evelyn Sikes of St. Louis, Missouri; aunts and uncles- Ashley (Jeffery) Rock, Harley Huse, Thomas (Ashley) Huse, and R.J. Huse; cousins- Penelope Rock, Jay Huse, and Sage Huse, and a host of extended family members that adored him.
He is preceded in death by his great grandfather- Charles Owens, great uncle- John Robinson, great uncle- Timothy Sikes, and great uncle- Tim Smith.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, 11:00 AM at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home with Josh Conley officiating. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery.
