Faye Courtney Obituary

Faye Ann Courtney, age 76, of Centralia, passed away Monday, March 24th, 2025 after a lengthy battle with lung cancer.

Faye was born in Centralia on April 17, 1946 the daughter of Robert and Juanita (Garren) Carter.  She met the love of her life, James Michael Courtney, and they were married in Sandoval on December 25, 2018.

A devoted wife, cherished mother, and loving grandmother, her unwavering dedication to family inspired countless lives. Faye spent her life nurturing and caring for others. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. She adored her family, and reveling in the simple joys of life. She loved her pets and enjoyed simply driving around the countryside every chance she got. She was always looking for a treasure during her yard sale hunts and antique shopping. Her family was her world. Her passing leaves a void in the lives of all who knew her, but her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will continue to inspire us. We will deeply miss her bright smile, her warm hugs, and her unwavering support.

Along with her husband, Faye is survived by three children- Howard W. Howell and fiance Jennifer of Centralia, Tonya Ray of Centralia, and Misty Huddleston and husband Robbie of Centralia, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, all whom she greatly adored, along with several bonus children and grandchildren that she adopted along the way. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation services will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Maxton-Rosado Funeral Home (Queen-Boggs Chapel located at 134 S. Elm Street) in Centralia.
