Edward David Meaney, Jr., age 46, of Carbondale, formerly of New York, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Edward was born in Yonkers, New York on September 14, 1977, the son of Debbie (Leonard) and Edward David Meaney. Prior to his illness, he had worked in armed security and recently began his studies to pursue a career in nursing.
As per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and no public services will be held at this time. Maxton-Rosado Funeral Home in Du Quoin is honored to assist the family with final arrangements.
