Edith Wiley Obituary Edith Bellvora Wiley, age 78, of Blairsville, Illinois, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023 at Helia Healthcare of Energy, surrounded by her loving family.
Edith was born December 30, 1944 in Pinckneyville, Illinois, a daughter of Berthal Emmett and Edith Bellvora (Nolan) Semon. She married the love of her life, Clarence Eugene Wiley on September 6, 1977 in Marion. Prior to her retirement, Edith had worked as a health caregiver.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Eugene Wiley of Blairsville, IL; three daughters, Connie Boeschen, Janet (Charles) Kerley, and Edie (Ed) Code; four siblings, John (Irni) Semon, Laura Carter, Vera (Dane) Coleman, and Fay (Joey) Howell; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by one son, Jerry Edward Roper Jr.; her parents, Berthal Emmett and Edith Bellvora (Nolan) Semon; and three siblings, Berthal Emmett Semon Jr., Kenneth James "Jimmy" Semon, and Betty Jean Semon.
Private burial will take place at Blairsville Cemetery with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with final arrangements.
