Diana Lee Morgan

Diana Lee (Gwaltney) Morgan, age 68, of Marion, passed away at 1:53pm on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Integrity Healthcare of Marion.

Diana was born in Kennett, Missouri on August 7, 1952, the daughter of Lee Frank and Eva Joann (Wood) Gwaltney. She married Michael Morgan. He preceded her in death on March 3, 2021.

Diana was a hard worker, having worked most of her life as a waitress. She was a woman of faith, who loved the Lord. She cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were the light of her life. 

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law- Vicki and Marty Gunter of Mulkeytown

Son- Joe Paul Garmane of Marion

Granddaughter- Michelle and Craig Helma

Grandson- Trevor Garmane and his family

Great Grandchildren- Jazmine and Greyson Helma

Brother- Frankie and Norma Gwaltney of West Frankfort

Brother- Danny and Julie Gwaltney of Marion

Half Sister- Ruth Strout

Several Nieces and Nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, husband, and precious dog- Charlie.

As per the family's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. No services will be held at this time. Maxton-Rosado Funeral Home in Du Quoin is assisting the family with final arrangements.
