Clarence Wiley Obituary Clarence Eugene Wiley, age 83, of Carterville, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at his home in Carterville, Illinois.
Clarence was born March 23, 1940 in Cobden, Illinois, a son of Clarence and Dorothy Ella (Toler) Wiley. He married the love of his life, Edith Bellvora Semon on September 6, 1977 in Marion. She preceded him in death on April 21, 2023.
He is survived by three daughters- Connie Boeschen, Janet (Charles) Kerley, and Edie (Ed) Code; four siblings- Albert Wiley, Lavern Wiley, Jessie Wiley, Lucille Wiley, and Ruth Cook; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife- Edith, one son- Jerry Edward Roper Jr.; his parents.
Private burial will take place at Blairsville Cemetery. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with final arrangements.
