Caroline Rose Bell, age 71, of McLeansboro, passed away at 3:50pm on Monday, July 31, 2023, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon.
Caroline was born in Du Quoin on July 18, 1952, the daughter of Herbert and Rita Ida (Schneider) Iffert. She married William “Bill” Bell. He preceded her in death.
Prior to her retirement, Caroline had worked as a nursing home dietary aide.
Survivors include her son- Marion Fulton Brown of McLeansboro; Sister- Marian (Gary) Pollard of Branson, Missouri; Sister- Patricia Robertson of Pinckneyville; Brother- David Iffert of Tamaroa; Brother- Robert (Patricia) Iffert of Du Quoin; Several nieces and nephews.
Caroline was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother- Richard Iffert.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Celebration of life services will be held at a later date. Service details will be updated here as they become available.
