Carmen Prakel Obituary Carmen Marie Prakel, age 58, of Herrin, Illinois, passed away Monday, October 2, 2023 at Herrin Hospital in Herrin, Illinois.
Carmen was born August 16, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois.
She is survived by three sons, Earl Byrley, Zach Alexander, and David Alexander; sister, Sharon (Fred) Buckingham; brother-in-law, Keith Stroud, and several Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty, and three siblings, Tina Banks, Jose Delgado, and Loretta Stroud.
The family will be holding a private celebration of life service at a later date. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with final arrangements.
