Today, we celebrate Brutus, a 16 year old, certified service dog for an Army veteran. Brutus was more than a service dog- he was a beloved member of the family. His love for kids knew no bounds. His passion for farm life was evident. What made Brutus truly special was his obedience, loyalty, and patience. He was so full of love- through thick and thin, he stood by his veteran's side, providing comfort, support and companionship. In his older years he was instrumental in the training of a younger dog in support of his veteran owner. Brutus was a full member of the entire family and will be missed by all. Brutus will be remembered for being the good dog he was for years to come.
Rest now, dear friend. Your service and love will never be forgotten.
