Betty Mann Obituary Betty Mann, age 93, of Herrin, Illinois, passed away Monday, May 27, 2024 at Parkway Manor in Marion, Illinois.
Betty was born July 30, 1930 in Carbondale, Illinois, a daughter of George D. and Jennie A. (Land) McCluney. She married Carl Mann and he preceded her in death. Betty was a member at Gods House of Prayer in Carterville and a member of the Body of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her son, Danny C. (Loretta) Towle of Carterville, IL and daughter-in-law Donna Towle of West Frankfort, IL; four grandchildren, Justin (Nichole) Towle, Annette (Tim) Thomas, Ryan (Sarah) Towle, and Richelle (Matt) Choate; seven great-grandchildren, Colton (Lilly) Towle, Mason Towle, Addy McRaven-Choate, Paxton Towle, Rosie Towle, Kenzie Choate, and Annie Choate; one great-great-grandchild, Collins Towle; and her nephews, Ray (Kathy) McCluney, Bill (Pat) McCluney, and several other nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Carl Mann; one son, M. David Towle; her parents, George D. and Jennie A. McCluney; and three siblings, Aline Kerley, Joe McCluney, and Carl McCluney.

Visitation will be Friday, May 31st, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 31, 2024, 1:00 PM at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Wiggs officiating. Burial will follow at Blairsville Cemetery.
