Anthony Lee "Tony" Perkins

With profound sadness, the family of Anthony Lee "Tony" Perkins announces his unexpected passing at 2:17pm on Monday, August 19, 2024 at Marshall-Browning Hospital. Tony, a loving husband, father, and stepfather, will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

Tony was born in Greenville on June 15, 1966, the son of Roger and Janice Perkins. He married the love of his life, best friend, and helpmate, Tamara Lynn Darling, in Du Quoin on November 15, 2012.  They embarked on life's journey together and through life's challenges, they stood side by side, and his family is forever grateful for the time they had with him. 

Tony is survived by his wife Tamara (Darling) Perkins of Du Quoin, son and daughter- in- law Anthony and Yuki Perkins, granddaughter Thea and stepson Michael Darling. He is preceded in death by his infant daughter Amanda and both parents, Roger and Janice. 

There will be no public services at this time. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their kindness and respect during this difficult time.
